Use Monthwe in ChatGPT
The Monthwe MCP connection lets you review the selected household’s monthly budget and recorded transactions in ChatGPT, preview and confirm statement imports, and compare budget scenarios.

Available features
- Monthly summary: distinguish the plan, recorded transactions, separately entered actual savings and the savings goal.
- Transaction search: filter one month by description, kind, category, account alias and signed amount.
- Statement import: preview extracted rows and duplicates, then save after separate explicit approval.
- Simulation: compare changed budget items or a one-off expense without saving the scenario.
Connection and current free access
Sign in with a Google or Apple account and complete household setup. In the Monthwe connection flow in ChatGPT, review and approve the household and scopes. The connection is bound to that household.
MCP requires an effective Pro entitlement for the household. During the current Pioneer POC, verified existing and new accounts are enrolled while the program and enrollment are active, with available Pro features provided free.
New purchases and plan changes are currently disabled. Future pricing and free access may change; you will not be charged automatically without separate consent or a subscription request.

The MCP connection does not directly read email accounts or raw statement files. It does not connect to banks, retrieve bank balances, transfer money, process payments or automatically edit budgets. Monthly plans and records are not bank balances or daily cash-flow forecasts.
